  2. Net-Control 4.0 gives two possibilities for measuring the
  3. activity of stations:
  4.  
  5.   1.) by measuring the numbers of sent packets,
  6.   2.) by measuring sent 64 byte blocks.
  7.  
  8. Measuring the packets is the default setting. Data is
  9. consistent with data of older Net-Control versions.
  10.  
  11. Measuring of 64 byte blocks makes sense, if you are
  12. more precisely interested in accounting information
  13. about the number of transmitted bytes by the various
  14. stations.
  15.  
  16. Switching from one mode to the other implies that the
  17. data of the actual day is deleted.
  18.  
  19. While viewing old data it is shown in the upper right
  20. corner of the screen if it is packet- or 64-byte-block
  21. data.
